Rod Lucas offers personal one to one Voice Training for people who
want to make money from their voice. Rod is a freelance commercial
producer and has extensive experience in radio and TV advertising.
He makes commercials and has worked for ad agencies such as WPP (the
biggest advertising agency in the world). With the BBC he's produced
and directed radio story reads, plays and produced all forms of BBC
& CBC (Canada) National Radio & TV programmes. £350 day no vat to pay.
All courses are
designed around you with the bonus of getting your own Voice
Showreel recorded during the training. The showreel will be your
calling card for work and making money from your voice in
commercials, story reads etc. Companies will assess your voicing
abilities based on what's on your voice showreel.
Beginners are
advised to take a 2 day voice over course at 700 no vat to pay, which includes full training and
your personal voice showreel featuring your voice in various modes
prepared on CD. You could also take a Rod Lucas Voice Over
Assessment where your vocal skills can be evaluated after
being sent some scripts. Rod will spend 1 hour giving you advice,
training and going through aspects of your voice suitability. Voice
Assessments are done on the telephone or Skype from your home. £130 no vat.
